Rotary Rustic Fayre 2024

As in previous years, the Verwood u3a stall at the Rustic Fayre on the August Bank holiday was very busy and successful.

A steady stream of visitors stopped to learn more about our organisation. At least 6 people joined us and many more went away with information.

The u3a stand attracted a lot of attention

Riverblue in performance mode!

The Verwood u3a ukulele group “Riverblue” in their personalised shirts performed throughout the afternoon, attracting people to stop to listen and even sing along. There was no doubt that the music added an extra dimension to the stand.

Music brings joy to the soul!

The display in the tent showed the variety of activities and crafts on offer and the Fayrewood Tales sold a number of copies.

Many thanks are due to Sue Coveyduck and her willing team of around 20 helpers for their time and efforts! And of course thanks are included to Riverblue and their Leader, Gareth Mills!
